After the loss of his father at an early age, he comes to cope with his grief through the use of drugs. After a tragic event, he decides to make the change to turn his life around by consulting Dr. West who aims to guide Matt through his struggles with the use of art, battling his grief with beauty rather than destruction.
YOUNG MATT: (Male, 8 to 12); A young, adventurous but quiet boy raised
in a broken home.
MATT: (Male, 18 to early 20s); A troubled, gentle teen, who turns to drugs after the loss of his father. He has an affliction for daisies as they remind him of the happiness he once knew as a child.
DR. JOSEPH WEST: (Male, late 20s to late 30s); A kind hearted therapist who helps Matt. His wife had suffered a miscarriage, their loss connects him to Matt.
BRENDAN: (18 to Early 20s); Hot headed high school jock who sexually manipulates Matt in return for a drug sale.
MOTHER / ABIGAIL: (Female, 30s to early 40s); A seemingly failed mother who has turned to alcohol following the loss of her husband. She’s distant, cold, and careless.
FATHER / MICHAEL: (Male, 30s to early 40s); Matt’s loving father who keeps the secret of his cancer from his wife and son.
MAN / GARY: (40s to 50s); A jerk biker dude who Abigail brings home from the bar, just another one of her visitors.
