Show Synopsis

A promotional video for a new residential electrical product that protects small children and animals from the exposed electrical sockets and cables in a home by preventing them from pulling on them, chewing on them, or pulling out any parts from the sockets (such as traditional socket covers) that may be a choking hazard for pets or small children.

Character Breakdown

Mother:
Late 20s to late 30s mother of a small child (8-16 months, generally crawling/teething ages). Plays the mother of the small child in the video. No scripted dialogue but may require some impromptu lines. If you have, or know someone, who has a child of these ages who could reasonably look to be your child, that is extremely helpful and please mention that in your submission.
Child:
Time on set will be kept to an absolute minimum, a max of 4 hours for parent and child, and ideally quicker. Actual on-camera time for the child will be much, much less than that.
About 8-16 month child (girl or boy) so that the child is generally at a crawling/teething phase. Ethnicity doesn’t necessarily matter. Child will be matched to the female actress/model. Mothers of children are welcome to apply for the mother role but we plan to accommodate a mother/child, as well as mother actress/model.
