This is the 40th annual Celebration of Christmas production that plays to over 50,000 people each December in our 3500 seat auditorium. This Broadway-style musical features a 40 piece live orchestra; a cast of 300 actors/singers/dancers; flying aerials; live animals; and state-of-the-art technical elements. Because of the size of the cast there are multiple choreographers who create spectacular dance numbers – including broadway, swing, hiphop/urban, jazz, modern, lyrical, tap and more.

The cast consists of around 300 performers in various disciplines. All areas are open for children, teen and adult performers.
Acting: includes lead and supporting character roles (some roles require strong singers)
Dance: includes featured dancers in various styles (Jazz, Broadway, Swing, Lyrical/ballet, Urban, Cheer/Acrobatics and more).
Vocalists: featured singing roles in various genres including: Gospel/R&B, Broadway, Pop, Classical Pop
Aerials: flying angels and aerialists
Special Talents: acrobatics, percussion, impersonations, rap, (folk dances: specifically Hawaiian/hula, India/Bollywood, Mexico/Folklorico)

Celebration of Christmas is a Phoenix holiday tradition and has played to nearly 2 million people in the valley of the sun over the last 39 years. The production is under the direction of award-winning actor/director/writer Mark Stoddard. Dream City (formerly Phoenix First) continues to expand its theater programming with summer Broadway musical series including ‘The Little Mermaid’ that plays July 13-16, 2017.
