What starts out as a simple game of pool between a grandfather and his granddaughter is actually a metaphor for grief and acceptance.
Julia aka Jules Age: 20-30s Granddaughter with chip on her shoulder. Confident with tomboy-ish mannerisms/qualities—but ultimately sweet natured. You can see the struggle in her eyes. Character’s ability to show emotion with limited dialogue—part of the story calls for tears. Any experience playing billiards/pool would be preferred but not necessary.
Grandpa George Age: 60-70s Looking for a grandpa figure with natural charisma and warming smile. Wise and comforting to his granddaughter Julia who he loves so much. Character will use a cane to assist with walking. Any experience playing billiards/pool would be preferred but not necessary.
If selected you will be asked to send in a self tape delivering lines from the script.
