A young man purchases an engagement ring for his lover, before being thrown into a back of a van and restrained. Sinister black-suited men taunt him with this ring and deliver him to a shadowy figure who clearly has history with the young man. Before he can be turned over, the young man subdues his captors, bursts from the van and begins a long sprint back to his lover. The black-suited men give chase and thus begins the young man’s struggle of love over oppression by this Mystery Man.

Meeting up with his ex-girlfriend, Collins decides to leave her and this town behind, robbing the diner and escaping with his new love interest Miny. During the chase, Miny and Collins get away from the police and hide out in the desert. The next morning however, the police catch up to them again and they are pursued until they escape into a car wash as the song ends.
